State Bank of India (SBI) said the proposed strike by the All India State Bank of India Staff Federation, scheduled for May 25-26, has been deferred. In a customer advisory, the bank said all branches and banking services will function without disruption during the period. The strike had been announced over staff shortages, outsourcing, pension concerns, and wage parity issues.
