Ahmedabad-based space-tech startup Aaka Space is planning to launch India's first underwater astronaut training mission later this year. The habitat will reportedly simulate microgravity and confined living to prepare crews for future. Supporting ISRO's Gaganyaan mission and India's planned space station, researchers will study stress, sleep and survival during underwater simulations in extremity.
