Alibaba's shares fell to a 16-month low in Hong Kong after a US-based AI firm, Anthropic, accused Alibaba of "illicitly" accessing its AI models. The firm's shares fell about 4.9% after the claims, extending this year's decline to 33%, Bloomberg reported. Shares of other Chinese firms that develop large language models also fell, with Xiaomi and Baidu dropping over 3%.
