Anthropic has released Claude Fable 5, its latest and most powerful AI model ever, which is state-of-the-art in nearly all tested benchmarks of AI capability. Fable 5 is based on Claude Mythos, the AI model that had caused a global equity bloodbath and spooked governments. Some of Fable 5's responses will come from Claude Opus 4.8 due to safeguards.
