AI startup Anthropic has signed a $1.8 billion computing deal with cloud and cybersecurity company Akamai Technologies to meet rising demand for its AI software, Bloomberg News reported. The deal comes as Anthropic seeks to raise billions of dollars to expand its computing infrastructure. Last month, Anthropic secured $65 billion in funding commitments from Google and Amazon.
