ASUS has reportedly confirmed its decision to halt the production of new Android phones for 2026. The Taiwanese multinational launched the ZenFone series in 2014 and launched two smartphones, the ZenFone 12 Ultra and the ROG (Republic of Gamers) Phone 9 series, in 2025. Despite the halt in production, ASUS said its "smartphone operations will continue".
