BacAlt raises ₹18 cr to scale sustainable bio-polymers

BacAlt Biosciences, a speciality biotech startup, has secured ₹18 crore in a funding round led by Avaana Capital, with support from Lubrizol InnoVentures. The company develops high-performance, non-microplastic bio-polymers via waste valorisation and energy-efficient fermentation.
