A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner plane was grounded after an Air India pilot reported a defect with the fuel control switch on Monday. Following the incident the DGCA said both left and right switches were checked and found satisfactory. It said that applying external force in an incorrect direction could have caused the switch to move from "run" to "cutoff".
