BSE Ltd will replace Wipro in the benchmark Nifty 50 index from September 30 as part of NSE's semi-annual review of broad market indices. BSE's six-month average free-float market capitalisation stood at ₹1,40,879 crore, compared with ₹55,930 crore for Wipro. The BSE-Wipro replacement will also apply to the Nifty50 Equal Weight index.
