The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the construction of a 6-lane greenfield, access-controlled Nashik–Solapur–Akkalkot Corridor in Maharashtra on a BOT mode. Spanning 374 km, the project, worth ₹19,142 crore, will connect key regional cities and improve logistics efficiency for freight originating from or terminating at major NICDC hubs.
