The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the merger of Udemy with Chess Merger Sub, Coursera's wholly owned subsidiary. After the completion of the merger, Udemy will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coursera. Existing Coursera shareholders are expected to own approximately 59%, while Udemy stockholders will own about 41% of the combined entity, on a fully diluted basis, CCI said.
