The Centre notified draft rules for social security of delivery workers on Tuesday as lakhs of workers went on strike on Christmas and New Year. Workers who've been engaged with a platform for 90 days will be eligible for different insurance plans. They'll have to register using their Aadhaar number, which will be used to generate their Universal Account Numbers.
