AI firm DeepSeek's new model V4 will run on latest chips designed by Huawei Technologies, The Information reported. Alibaba, Tencent Holdings and ByteDance have reportedly placed bulk orders for Huawei's upcoming chips totalling thousands of units. DeepSeek has earlier withheld its latest AI model from US-based chipmakers, including NVIDIA, Reuters reported.
