The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has released the Guidebook on Mapping of HSN Codes, unveiled by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal during the 'Make in India at 10' event. The publication allocates 12,167 HSN codes across 31 Ministries and Departments, aiming to streamline governance processes and strengthen India’s administrative framework.
