ED has taken Biswal Tradelink (BTPL) MD Partha Sarathi Biswal into custody in connection with the ongoing money laundering investigation into Anil Ambani-led companies, India Today reported. This is the first arrest made by ED in the alleged ₹3,000-crore loan fraud case. The ED found that BTPL reportedly got ₹5.4 crore from Reliance Power to facilitate the fake bank guarantee.
