French authorities have opened an investigation into X and Elon Musk over alleged algorithm abuse and fraudulent data practices, the prosecutor's office said. The probe involves child sexual abuse content, deepfakes, disinformation and alleged complicity by Grok in denying crimes against humanity. The move follows Musk and former X CEO Linda Yaccarino failing to appear for questioning on April 20.
