Gold, silver and platinum jumped to all-time highs due to escalating geopolitical tensions and weakening US dollar. Spot gold rose as much as 1.2% to a peak above $4,530 an ounce. Silver prices have also witnessed a major surge, rising around 4% to cross $75 per ounce for the first time, Bloomberg reported.
