Gold prices jumped by ₹1,910 to ₹98,450 per 10 grams in Delhi on Wednesday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The metal of 99.9% purity had closed at ₹96,540 per 10 grams on Tuesday. Meanwhile, silver prices climbed ₹1,660 to ₹99,160 per kg. The white metal had closed at ₹97,500 per kg in the previous market close.
