The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has taken cognisance of the controversy around Pronto's in-home AI recording pilot and is looking into the matter, government sources told Moneycontrol. This comes after Pronto faced backlash over privacy concerns. Pronto said cameras are used only in select opt-in jobs with explicit consent.
