The GST Department has issued a tax demand notice of ₹124.65 crore to SpiceJet over alleged non-filing of GST returns for several months, officials said. Authorities have also issued a show-cause notice seeking cancellation of the airline's GST registration. The department added SpiceJet repeatedly committed irregularities in filings, leading to dues of nearly ₹12 crore each in February and March.
