After getting health problems due to constant travel involved in his job, Sumit Giri, a Haryana-based engineer, quit his job and started building a vermicompost business on half an acre of leased land. Today, he produces roughly 90 tonnes to 120 tonnes of vermicompost per cycle and clocks an annual revenue of ₹45 lakh.
