HCLSoftware, the software business division of HCLTech, on December 22 announced its intent to acquire Jaspersoft, a business unit of Cloud Software Group. Reportedly, the deal is worth $240 million (nearly ₹2,150 crore) in cash and will be executed as an asset carve-out. As part of the deal, all 115 employees at Jaspersoft will be transferred to HCLSoftware.
