Hindustan Petroleum has invested ₹2 crore in IIT Kanpur-incubated startup Maraal Aerospace through its HP Udgam initiative, strengthening its push into deep-tech innovation. Founded by Vivek Kumar Pandey, the startup is developing solar-powered long-endurance drones for defence and civilian use. The funding will support testing, validation, and faster product development.
