Shares of household appliance companies rose up to 14% on Thursday as sales of induction cooktops and electric kettles surged amid ongoing concerns around LPG supply. Shares of Jaipan Industries, TTK Prestige and Greenchef Appliances rose 14%, 8.3%, and 4%, respectively. Tata Group's Croma said it observed a threefold jump in demand for induction cooktops over the past few days.
