NCLT halted the bidding process for edtech platform BYJU'S till the next scheduled hearing on August 31. The order came on Founder Byju Raveendran's plea, which questioned the $1.2-billion claim of GLAS Trust Company. Raveendran argued that allowing the claim without scrutiny could influence the insolvency resolution process, as GLAS holds over 99% voting power on the committee of creditors.
