The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has allowed the blending of synthetic fuels into aviation turbine fuel (ATF). According to a notification, the definition of ATF has been revised to include blends with synthetic hydrocarbons. The move is aimed at bringing clarity to fuel standards amid growing use of alternative and blended aviation fuels.
