Vibe-coding startup Emergent has become the second Indian AI startup to achieve unicorn status in a month after it raised $130 million and was valued at $1.5 billion. Sarvam AI also achieved the milestone in June. The Series C round in Emergent was led by Creaegis and joined by Claypond, Sentinel Global, Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Lightspeed.
