India is set to become world's second-largest economy in terms of purchasing power parity by 2038, stated EY's report. Based on International Monetary Fund projections, India's GDP is expected to reach $34.2 trillion during this period. DK Srivastava, Chief Policy Advisor at EY India said India's young demographic, rise in domestic demand will help sustain growth amid volatile global environment.
