Indian Railways is preparing to develop its next indigenous bullet train capable of reaching speeds of 350 kmph, marking a major leap in India's high-speed rail ambitions. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed that design work is expected to begin within six months. The announcement comes as India simultaneously develops its first domestically-built bullet train with a 280 kmph design speed.
