In a significant shift, Saudi Arabia will allow foreigners, including Indians, to own property under an updated legal framework from January 2026. Saudi minister Majed Al-Hogail confirmed the same, adding that foreigners will be allowed to own residential properties nationwide, except in four cities. Commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties will be open for ownership without exception.
