Sarvam has launched Sarvam Edge, a new AI model that can work without an internet connection on smartphones. The startup said Edge responds instantly and keeps data secure as no server logs user queries. The new model doesn't have a query cost either, as it operates locally on the user's smartphone, and offers speech recognition for 10 Indian languages too.
