The Income Tax Department has released the Excel utility for ITR-7 for Assessment Year 2026-27. The form is meant for entities such as charitable and religious trusts, political parties, research institutions, universities and specified educational bodies, not salaried taxpayers. Other major ITR forms, including ITR-1 to ITR-5, are also available through online filing or Excel utilities.
