Dabur has taken a dig at American toothpaste brand Colgate in its newspaper advertisement amid India-US tariff row. "Did you know your favourite toothpaste...is American?" read the ad. This came after PM Narendra Modi asked Indians to use 'Made-in-India' goods, as US imposed penalty tariffs on India. Colgate has 43% share in India's toothpaste market, compared to Dabur's 17%.

This occurrence was linked to claims of Donald Trump's possible tariff imposition on Indian IT firms, which was later retracted. Lucy Guo, world's youngest self-made woman billionaire, revealed she dropped out of US' Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) just a year before she was set to graduate. Speaking to CNBC Make It, Guo said it was like a "slap in the face" for her immigrant parents when she left her Computer Science degree. She did so to join the Thiel Fellowship.

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said India is refusing to give in to President Donald Trump's tariff pressure as it wants to display "bravado". "You think it feels good to fight with the [world's] biggest client but eventually your businesses are going to say, 'You've got to stop this and go make a deal with America'," Lutnick said.

Do you want to talk about that big day you had yesterday?" To this, Pichai simply replied, "I'm glad it's over. It's a long process." Roongta Cinemas CEO Sanjay Barjtya spoke about effect of government's new GST reform on cinemas. He explained that only small-town cinemas, where tickets prices less than ₹100, will reap benefits of the GST reform, not multiplexes in Tier-1 cities where average ticket price stands over ₹200. At his cinema, ₹100 tickets accounted for only around 8.5% of business, Barjatya said.

A few years ago, Cadbury Dairy Milk reduced their chocolate's size from 200g to 180g as cocoa prices soared from $2,500/tonne to $10,000/tonne. Cocoa prices rose due to adverse weather and crop disease.
