CM Devendra Fadnavis said Maharashtra is leading India's startup ecosystem in absolute numbers, investments and unicorn count. "People say Bengaluru is a startup capital, Hyderabad is a startup capital...no, Maharashtra is the startup capital," he stated. "The state stands out because of the entire ecosystem," Fadnavis said. He added that the state is emerging as India's data centre capital.
