Mahindra Group CEO Anish Shah recalled an 11-year-old incident wherein he told his billionaire boss Anand Mahindra 'no' and explained his reasons, a month into joining the conglomerate. Shah said Anand had asked his opinion about a proposal which would be taken for board's approval a day later. "[Anand said:] I'm going to invite you...give...board the same answer," Shah said.
