US authorities have charged a 20-year-old man with attempted murder and arson for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's home. The man was arrested outside OpenAI's office after throwing a chair at its doors. The FBI, in its complaint, alleged the man threatened to burn down the office and said he would "kill anyone inside".
