A Reddit user claimed his friend, a former Microsoft techie with four years of experience, has capitulated (accepted defeat) after being rejected by "hundreds of apps" and being jobless for 5-6 months. The only job the techie got was a help desk job that required him to move 2,000miles for a meagre pay. He ended up taking a bartender's job.
