RG Chandramogan, founder of Arun Icecreams-maker Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, began with a salary of ₹65/month at a timber depot in Tamil Nadu's Viluppuram. He moved to Chennai in 1970 and launched a tiny ice cream business, often pushing the cart himself. A college dropout, he built Hatsun into India's largest private-sector dairy company, now valued at over ₹20,000 crore.
