Meta acquired humanoid robotics startup Assured Robot Intelligence (ARI) for an undisclosed sum. The startup, founded in 2025, is developing AI models for robots. ARI's team, including its Co-founders, will join Meta's Superintelligence Labs research division to push the tech giant's humanoid AI ambitions. Meta's move comes days after it confirmed laying off 8,000 employees in May this year.
