Mumbai Police has filed cheating cases against Rapido and Uber bike taxis for operating in the city without permission of the state government. The action follows complaints filed by Regional Transport Office (RTO) officials who had booked dummy rides to confirm violations. In April, the RTO had issued notice to Rapido for transporting passengers illegally and without any license.
