Navi Mumbai is set for a major transportation upgrade with the approval of a ₹5,575-crore integrated metro corridor connecting Sagar Sangam, CBD Belapur, Pendhar, and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport. The 28-km network will add 13 stations and is expected to benefit around 12 lakh commuters by improving connectivity, reducing road congestion, and enhancing airport access.
