National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a notice to the Delhi government over allegations that app-based cabs and autos are charging excessive fares above government-fixed rates. It directed the government to investigate and submit a report within two weeks. "Charging more than the prescribed rate...is against the rights of citizens," NHRC member Priyank Kanoongo said.
