NSE welcomes up to 10% CSR social stock exchange expenditure rule

NSE welcomed the new rule allowing companies to channel up to 10% of their annual CSR spending through instruments listed on Social Stock Exchanges, saying it would benefit not-for-profit organisations. The move also permits investments in Zero Coupon Zero Principal Instruments, enhancing funding accessibility. A social stock exchange enables social organisations to raise funds from public.
