OpenAI on Tuesday said it had appointed Nubank CEO David Vélez and CEO of financial services firm BNY Robin Vince to its nonprofit and for-profit boards of directors. OpenAI said both of them will provide the firm with perspectives on how technology can reshape industries and drive economic growth. This comes after OpenAI earlier confidentially filed for an IPO.
