OpenAI on Tuesday unveiled GPT-5.4-Cyber, a variant of its AI model focused on defensive cybersecurity, a week after Anthropic announced Mythos. Similar to Anthropic, OpenAI is rolling out the new variant on a limited basis to a group of verified cybersecurity professionals. The model includes a binary reverse engineering feature, allowing professionals to analyse software for vulnerabilities.
