Payload to study Sun launched aboard Vikram-1's nanosatellite

The VISWA-M payload carried into orbit by Vikram-1's SOLARAS nanosatellite aims to study Sun's spectrum across multiple wavelengths while demonstrating a low-cost payload architecture for academic space missions. It was developed by VIT-AP students and faculty in collaboration with Bengaluru-based startup Grahaa Space. Vikram-1 is India's first private orbital rocket, built by Skyroot Aerospace.
