Space technology firm Pixxel on Monday announced that it will develop India's first orbital data centre satellite, Pathfinder, with Sarvam AI. Pixxel will design, build, launch and operate the satellite, while Sarvam AI will provide the AI backbone. Unlike conventional satellites, the Pathfinder satellite will host datacentre-class GPUs similar to on-ground data centres, Pixxel said.
