Prada has announced that it'll collaborate with Indian artisans to produce Made-in-India Kolhapuri-inspired luxury sandals, each worth €800 (about ₹85,000). This comes weeks after the fashion brand faced widespread backlash for featuring the sandals at their show without giving credit to India. Prada will make 2,000 pairs of the limited-edition collection of sandals in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
