Pune Railway Station is set to get a massive airport-style passenger holding area capable of accommodating nearly 10,000 people to tackle severe overcrowding and platform chaos. The project, inspired by New Delhi Railway Station's crowd-management model, aims to improve safety, regulate passenger movement, and prepare Pune station for rapidly rising rail traffic and festival rushes.
