Banks offer debt consolidation for easier management of debts, such as multiple loans and other borrowings. When consolidating a debt, a person applies for a personal loan and pays off their outstanding debts like medical bills or credit card balances with this loan. When the pre-existing debts are paid off, payment on the new loan is paid each month.

Over 2.3 million cybersecurity incidents were reported in India in 2024, along with ₹1,200-crore financial loss due to cyberattacks, the report highlighted. It also noted that India ranks third in phishing attacks, after the US and Russia.

As many as 6,688 companies have relocated their registered office from West Bengal to other states during the period from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2025, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply on Tuesday. These companies shifted base to states/UT like Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and others, it added.

The Delhi government has extended its current EV policy until March 31, 2026, or until a new one is approved, Transport Minister Pankaj Singh said on Tuesday. He added that during this extended period, the government will focus on improving EV charging infrastructure and reviewing waivers to boost EV adoption. The current policy, introduced in 2020, lapsed in August 2023.
